| Individually crafted in Vermont, these natural hardwood bowls inherit the natural markings of the parent tree's grain pattern, each a unique display of beauty. Every bowl starts from a solid block of maple wood and is cut by a series of saws and lathes to create the correct size and shape. Each bowl undergoes an environmentally-controlled drying process for several weeks to prevent cracking and warping. Upon completion of this process, the bowls are sanded, inspected for quality, and finished with a mineral oil rub. There is no waste in the creation - all remaining wood elements are recycled into firewood and animal bedding. |
